Dear GM Protection Plan:
Thank you for making this a limited time mail offer. “Limited” is the key word of this plan. If this a special offer, you only included the 48 month plan. Where are the others? That is a one year warranty extension for $1.800. This prohibitive expense excludes any reasonable consideration.
Selection of a plan from you does not expire on the 4-months post-purchase date you stated. GM plans have until 1 year/12,000 miles after the purchase date. Additionally, there are 50 other plans up to 7 years, for a less price, same coverage.
In conclusion: This minimal warranty extension is very expensive, leaves out other time options, and does not expire on the date of the enclosed notice.
Your V.P. of Marketing should be notified of this remarkably poor marketing strategy and use of advertising resources.
