Decode my block (I'm stumped)

Code in front of RH cylinder: M10221VP (note, "1" might be "I")

Code on bellhousing flange: 10066036

I am thoroughly stumped. It's a Mexican block (M in front of first code, and "HECHO EN MEXICO" above bellhousing code), but other than that, I know nothing about it...

I searched previous posts on decoding these codes, and went to the lists that were linked, but no one has anything about a "VP" or "IVP" suffix, and nothing like that casting code is mentioned anywhere.

Can anyone shed some light onto this mystery?

10066036...350...........2 or 4...Target Master/Goodwrench crate motor, 2-piece rear
seal, "Hecho en Mexico"

heres what i found out so far, maybe someone will help you out with the other numbers.

Thanks. I think I need to get the car on a dyno, to get an idea of what's inside the engine...

Back up...

Can anyone tell me anything about the "VP" (or "IVP") suffix code?

How about casting date? I've seen two different dates (80-85 and 94) listed for that block casting code. I'd like to narrow down when the engine was actually replaced.
