About the same time that Reeves Callaway was working on the Deserter car in the mid-70s, Paul Deutschman was working on his own kit car...

Pictured below, is that car, as he still has one left from those days that he keeps closeby. I had the pleasure of discovering this car and chatting with Paul this past weekend, as we had met to further plan the Art and the automobile show :cool

Interesting. Does Paul own any Callaways? Those wheels remind me of something, but I can't quite place them... what was the base model for this kit?

I just remembered what those wheels look like. Original Mini Cooper wheels.
