The L-98 had a tailpipe (the Y-pipe) thickness of 2.25", while the LT-5 had a 2.75" tailpipe. When the LT-1 came out in '92, the tailpipe diameter increased to 2.75", the same as the LT-5. The LT-4, when it came out in '96, had a 2.75" tailpipe as well.
My miniram 406 has a hooker 2151 header with a hooker 3" y-pipe and dumped into one 3" tube then into the stock y-pipe, I need more flow and wondered what was easily bought in the stock config but with a larger ID.
