Diff fluid Change

I was checking my fluid level yesterday and did not notice a drain plug. Any thoughts on changing the fluid or did I just miss the plug.

Should be a plug on the right side, square head......you'll have to suck it out and squeeze in some new.

Replaced the fluid by buying a suction gun like you mentioned, worked great only took about 3 pumps and all the fluid was out.

My diff was chattering when starting out in first and making a left or right turn. After the change and adding the friction modifier (both GM Part#'s) the chattering is gone.

Great, I'm filling mine up now and making a mess!

Fun job. I had to remove the spare tire and carrier to gain better access to the plug. with the carrier removed I could sit behind the diff and do the work. Also, I could reach up above the gas tank and feel the tank sticker (another day).
