Hi all!! I'm new this Forum , and I hope someone can help out with this!! replaceing booster on 77... the original one has the connector for the brake pedal stamped on the end of the rod - The New booster has a screw on end. Problem is that now the rod seems to be more then1/4" shorter than original, and of course the brake lights stay on all the time (I have the brake switch turned in all the way) Ive ordered two boosters and both are the same....

Any ideas or comments??? ( The original can't be rebuilt )

Thanks Tom

I used my old clevis and welded a nut from a roller rocker on the end to make mine work, but I'm just to cheap to buy the correct part. Check out Master Power Brakes, they have an adjustable clevis on thier web site. http://www.mpbrakes.com/hardware2.htm
