Is there a recommended procedure for breaking in new differential gears?
Anyone purchased a new third member from Corvette Central,MidAmerica,Ecklers, etc.,that came with a break in procedure?

Drive it easy for the first 500 miles. The first time out, dirve about 10-15 miles then stop and let it cool down for an hour,do this several times and you should be ok. Check for leaks at the pinion seal and side yokes, there shouldn't be any.

Drain the oil after the first 500 miles and use GM posi additive and 90 wt oil.

When I rebuld them I add a drain plug in th ehosuing for future oil PM's. It makes it a lot easier.
