Okay I just bought and installed a new rearend and side yokes. I have the core differential with the old side yokes still in it. The problem is I need to send the yokes to one company and the diff. to another, but I cant get the yokes out of the old differential. I got the E-clips off, but the problem is the inside ends of the yokes are "mushroomed" and they wont slide out. Ive tried hammering and slide hammering them out....they moved a little, but they arent coming out. I would appreciate any input, Im running out of time to get these cores back.
Thanks, Kevin.

keep hammering not the best choice but the only one that i have used maybe a brass drift and BFH Steve

sorry for my ignorance here, but what is a brass drift and BFH Steve?

just a large round cylinder of brass hopfully to do less damage when hammering and a BFH is just big f---ing hammer good luck steve

hahahaha o alright thanks.

don't hammer...patience is better. Hopefully you have a die grinder or an electrical grinder, use a small carbide burr to clean up the end of thse stub axles and then work your way around them and they will slide out easily. Hammers are a last resort.
