differential oil fill plug

trying to check differential oil level but i can't get to it with any wrench i have; what does everyone else do?

I pull the right rear wheel and use a 5/8" 8-point socket.

magnetic plug

I found that a drain plug from a comercial hauler(16 wheeler) ie Peterbuilt is the same as a mid year vette, 3/4 pipe thread and it gives you the added protection of being a magnetic type. John
