Digital Heater/AC Control

Hi everyone,
I'm just in the process of reconditioning my 87 convertible and have run into a prob. Before the recon the digital ac/htr control worked but the digital numbers would only appear 5% of the time. Therefore I bought a new one. recently I installed the new one and ...NOTHING..... no lights no action at all. Thinking its probably a bad one I re-installed the old one I knew worked and guess what....NOTHING. I've not changed a thing with the wiring. Anyone with an idea?

ATC PROBLEM

Had the same problem with my "88 convert. After establishing all fuses were good I traced the problem to the connecter which plugs into the back of the unit. I had to clean and play with the plug but finally got it working and it's been fine since. I have the factory wiring diagrams and troubleshooting guide for electrical systems and that helped alot. Also check your ground wire that goes underneath the console. Easy to spot.
