Dimmer Switch - How to Install?

Can someone tell me how to replace the headlight dimmer switch on my 65. I haven't done this before and I'm not sure if the switch fits in from underneath somehow or bolts directly to the floor.

I appreciate the help.

First you have to pull back the carpet
then disconnect the wiring plug
then remove the attaching 2 screws (one on either side). The "nuts" are a plate that is riveted to the underbody panel

Installation is the reverse of above.

Did you check this out in your copy of the AIM?

The only caveat is the the attaching screws may be hesitant to be removed.
