Dipstick tube for headers

I am looking for a source/part number for a dipstick tube that will fit an '85 with flange type headers. The original tube was designed to offset from the head about 1 1/2" as the original manifold was pretty thick.

Just to remind everybody, the '85 engine has a two piece rear seal block with a right side dipstick tube. I am sure that a tube that will fit my engine would also fit a wide range of small block applications.

Also, I have a speed sensor question on installing a Richmond 6sp on same vehicle. If anyone has done this install, please respond and I'll start a new thread. The question is pretty lengthy, so I don't want to type it out if no one can help.

LOKAR makes flexible braided tubes. I have one on my car, got it at a local speed shop seems like it was about $60

I used my stock dip tube with the 350, but had to switch to aftermarket as the 406 dips on the driver's side.

You can carefully bend the dipstick tube using a tubing bender. I welded a nut onto my header flange to bolt the bracket to. The header bolts are hard enough to tighten without anything extra in the way.

I had one just like Colin uses, but I couldn't take the heat - that SOB got hot! Way too hot for my tender fingers. :L

I resorted to a stock dipstick and tube for the 400 block I used.
