For me, this was a disappointing outcome for Corvette. Vettes are well suited to this track and should be able to take advantage of the long runs. I don't understand how BMW continues to be faster. Plus, it seems the pit stops were a bit long - especially the re-fueling operation. Seemed like the BMW's have made strides in their pit operations. Last, the drivers need to be more careful. First, Magnuson needlessly wrecks the car at LeMans, then they hit each other at Lime Rock and now Milner spins out at Road America. These races are tough enough to win without taking yourself out. I believe that Corvettes should be winning more. They are fast, have great pit crews and the best of equipment and support - the Lemans win proved that. Sure hope they perform better in the remainder of the races. I suspect Batltimore will be difficult for them. Wins at Laguna Seca and down at Atlanta would sure be nice.

I feel the same about that race.I used to live in Delaware, sure would like to be there at the downtown Baltimore street course around the inner harbour :)

will be there all three days for the Balmer Gran Prix - will get parade laps on the course with either my 1963 Z06 or my 2010 ZR1 - have pit pass so will be visiting all the pits that I can over the 3-day event - should be some good racing

WOW-lucky you!Have some blue crabs and some brews-hope it's a good race!:beer
