i used to have a page bookmarked that had the instrustions for disassembling, but i have since lost it. anyone know of a place with these instructions?

i got the back off, but the first layer of circuitry wont come out...the top right corner seems to be stuck. there is a white connector of some sort that seems to be connected to the bottom level. does this disconnect somehow?

Is there a reason you are disassembling it? Is it not working?

i was trying to replace 2 of the backlights (top). i put some heat shrink on them and tried to pull them out, but the fittings came loose from the cluster. now they are both loose inside...

i just need to get the top layer out, so i can attempt to fix what i have messed up.

done!

yes, that first one was the one i was thinking of, i think

but i fidgeted with it a little while i was waiting and figured it out. everything works! it feels great when one of your attempted corvette repairs works out perfectly in the end. thanks for the response.
