I was putting the new wires together today and when I put them on the cap I looked at the manual. It has two positions. One for points and one for HEI. When I built the eng. everything is set up top dead center with the rotor pointed forward to #1 just off center a bit. According to the book #1 should be more around counter clock wise. I know its on TDC and the distributors in right. Im just set up in the points direction. Whats it matter?????
