Ditzel Paint Code for 79 Corvette

I have a friend restoring his 79 Corvette in original exterior color. He sent me this info:

Hey there, I took that (code 72) info regarding the 1979 original paint
color to the paint shop.... He asked for the ditzler number that accompanied it and we called a paint store that gave us a four digit number. I was just wondering how I can be sure it (if the ditzler number is correct) is the right color as you don't bump into original paint jobs on 1979 corvettes very often.

I would be sick if the ditzler number was the wrong number, I was just
wondering if you might have access to the ditzler number as well.
