If you haven't been to our Registry Website lately you are missing out....

One of members has stepped up to the plate and pointed to deep center field, and delivered ;)

Awesome!!

Is that a PCV hole on the top left end?

Tom

I was reading on the GM site that the holes were marked and had to be drilled for the PCV and Fill cap.

Tom,

That's correct, they come solid and underneath have an area set for drilling. What I did was to mark the center of that area and use a small starter drill from the inside, then turn it over and use a 1 1/8th" hole saw to actually cut it out. It works just fine and is very easy to cut out. The 1 1/8th hole fits push in breathers and by adding a grommet you can also use the same size hole for the PCV.

The only problem I've heard of with these is that they are very porous so at the least you'll have to paint the insides with Glyptal 1201 Red. I like them plain but to add to the "shiny factor" I decided to powdercoat them bright red.

When I get them on I'll make another post.....we hijacked this one too much already :D
