Do you need to grease NPP exhaust actuator valves?

I have a 2012 with NPP exhaust. When mine open and close they make a squeaky noise. Is that normal, or do they need some sort of high temp lubrication from time to time?

thanks!

DAmn.
If those valves squeak loud enought to be heard over the exhaust when they close, there's something definitely wrong. If it were me, I'd be checking that out.

The valves on my '12 have never made any noise...at least none that I could hear.

lol, my npp were added later, and I installed the npp in a box/mild 2 wild kit. I am talking about when I open and close them with the car standing still, and me right behind it watching the valves they make a squeak noise.. Not at 3500RPM doing about a hundred lol - I can't hear them then ;)

Ok. I get it now.
I do not have M2W. Without the ability to cycle the valves with the engine not running, I have no idea if they squeak, but, now that I think about it, because the valve has a metal shaft riding in a metal housing, my guess is squeaking is normal.

If you decide to try and lubricate them, make sure whatever you use can withstand high temperature. If you use a lubricant that eventually burns or cokes, the valves will stick.
