Document preservation

When I bought my '81, I found the original purchase contract/bill of sale, the original title application and owners registration still with the car.

Any suggestions on the best way to preserve this stuff?

I have thought about having it all laminated for display when the car gets to the "show" stage.

I'd scan and make copies of it for the display and store the originals in a vacuum sealed plastic bag.

Agree......and my shop does laminating and mounting. Store those originals away.
