Doe Skin Color?

I have ordered new carpet and vinyl die for my corvette restoration. My question is this, the trim and door panels are lighter than the carpet in the car right now(haven't seen the new stuff yet) does the Doe skin stay light on the trim or will it be dark like the carpet?

I want to redo the trim and maybe even the doors but don't want it to be as dark as the carpet.

If you have Ecklers Spring/Summer 2003 catalog look at page 198.
Will the paint make it all the color of the carpet or the vinyl?
