I am wondering if anyone has information about the driver's side fender alarm keyhole. Mine doesn't work, and I would like to connect it in the future and am wondering what that would entail. Is there a webpage describing this system, how is it supposed to work and where can I get parts for it?

This is the only thing on my Vette that does not work!

My 77 Vette:

Thanks!

Yes, it is factory...>

It is on the drivers fender with a hole where the key should be. I have put a fake key there until I figure out what to do with it. The wires are there in the fender, but no lock or whatever goes in the hole???

I eventually figured out mine still works, but someone snatched the stinking horn off at some point. I may put one back on just on princple, but I havent gotten around to it. I think I could addapt it to a more modern alarm setup with a keyless entry and such, that would be kinda nifty. projects and more projects.. :)

Fender alarm...>

The biggest thing is I hate where it is on the fender. I have a fake rubber grommet and keylock there now to cover the hole.
