When you talk about the left side and right side of a car, is it when you stand in front and look to the back or when you're sitting in the car. I ask this because my message told me the left front tire was low. Turns out it was the passenger side front tire that was low. Is this right or am I wired wrong? :confused

Since the dawn of the auto industry (1835 or so) left and right have always referred to your perspective from sitting in the driver's seat.

Driver's side is left!

Passenger side is right!

Your electronics could be incorrect.

Save The Wave! :w

It possible the tire pressure sensors need to be 'reprogrammed' to make them report their correct position.

Right is definitely the passenger side and left is the drivers side.

I'm getting false readings on my right front tire. Tripping the too much pressure reading. Can the TPM be reprogrammed in the same manner as the C5 monitors with a magnet?

Thats what I thought. Can they be reprogrammed? It's probably covered under warranty I would think. Maybe we should send this thread to the tech side to get an answer. Thanks guys.

C4C5 told me it's probably a bad sensor in my case. I just hate the service dept. in my neighborhood. They don't do wheel work and would send the car out for a sensor replacement. Some BS right? Just thought I'd give a reprogram a try first.

Just got a reply from c4c5. The sensors are programmed with a special tool. No longer with the magnet.

Yes Thank You, but did he say the program could change the tire is sensing? Did you ask him about my problem?

Which of your many problems, specifically???;LOL

Actually, all you have to do is unplug the connector and reverse it.
Unless your C6 is a comedian...Left front tire low...no, the other left!!!
