Door Ajar Light

Decided to take the Vette to work today and I noticed that when I made a left exit off the highway the door ajar light flickered on. It also briefly flickered going over some bumps. Didn't seem to do it when I made an exit (at the same speed) going right. I made sure I wasn't leaning on the door in case that mattered. Interior lights and alarm seems to be normal in case they all operate off the same switch. So I'm wondering if this is a bad switch or maybe just an adjustment. Any ideas?

It's amazing how these little things crop up just sitting in the garage.

At least one of your door switch is closing briefly when it should be open. To locate which one, tape a spacer temporailly on the door door jamb to see which one is malfunctioning. When located, try cutting a spacer out of 1/16" thick sheet vinyl and shim the swtch on the door.
If all fails, time for a new switch.

a really simple fix is 2 sided tape... the thick kind.... cut a small square of it, and just don't take off the tape on the side that the switch will hit... it is the right thickness, and is super cheap and easy... BTW, this fix won't last too long... your switch needs to be replaced, and it is a real pain to do it since you have to take the whole door apart.
