Door Change

I need to replace the drivers side door on my 72 convertible, it is rusted near the door latch, don't know if worth fixing. But any how I would like to know if a 68 door would fit as well as 69-72. Also I think there is a difference between coupe and a convertible fit. Any thoughts appreciated ,thanks Bob.

Fit, yes. Be what you want? No. You have additional hardware on your existing door which was not used on the '68s. 68s also have the one-year-only thumb button.

Late '70 through '72 should work.

Fit is about the same, but the doors and door glasses are different. Convertible doors have the latch and receiver hardware not on the coupe doors.
