Door Panel Removal Picture

For those that need to remove a C5 door panel, here is a picture that may help. First remove the oval cover around the door opening handle and lock. You need to pull the oval cover up or down to release the two small snaps in the middle. To remove the panel there are only two screws behind the "pull" handle, then you have to pry out the 6 small white posts, and lift up to dis-engage the 3 clips around the window. The hard part is getting the white nylon posts to dis-engage. They tend to be pretty sticky. They have small serations like a cable tie and they don't want to let go. After I located exactly where they were, I slipped a 1" wide putty knife betwen the panel and the door, right next to one of the posts. A thin flat putty knife works better than a screwdriver because it does not put all of the force in one small area. Then, be brave and give the putty knife a quick pull. Maybe the first one will release half way, and the second one will give a few clicks. After a few trys you will learn how much pressure to apply. Then you can zip off the next panel is less than a minute. PS When removing your window and mirror control panel, pry up at the front and back, not on the sides.
Good luck.
