Door Panels

I need to buy a used 1976 white deluxe door panel to replace mine. Two questions...

1) Can I replace the trim that comes with the replacement with the one from my door? If so, how difficult is it?

2) Can I replace the carpet segment on the replacement with the one from my door? Again if so how difficult is that?

I used a "basic" door panel which comes without any moulding or carpet and used my old moulding and left the carpet off, my preference.

If I remember correctly it was a matter of drilling some holes in the replacement panel.
