I have a 72 convertible and notice passenger side lower door pillar that goes all the way down to the base where it ties in to the body mount has some rust out on the outside face of the pillar, but when I took off the kick panel it look real good on the inside , except for seams expanding a little. Drivers side is good though. I would like to know if anyone knows a less intrusive procedure or any thoughts. I was thinking find a used lower piece and weld on, or repair weld piece around bottom? Thanks for any help, car is not show but definitely nice car with good frame and rest of bird cage good, and with new interior. Bob
