I am trying to fix a sticky passenger side door lock. I attempted to remove the accessory plate, but the armrest is in the way. My shop manual doesn't show me how to remove the armrest, and whatever else, to get to the door lock slide {useless shop manual} I would appreciate any insight. I'm sure it's easy, but if you don't know, you don't know.

If I recall you push the armrest outward (toward the outside of the car) Their are two holes the armrest sits in and hook under each hole....I don't know if this helps...its tough to explain...The slide pops off...slip a tiny screwdriver under and pop it off....their is a little metal clip that hooks the bar under the colored portion. If you still can't imagine...I think i have one of each in the attic I can take a photo of if you don't get a clearer discretion.
