I would like to know if all doors are interchangeable from 68-82, I have a 72 convertible, and that brings up another question, coupe and convertible same?, I know the door guide is different, but can you put all the door guide hardware from convertible on coupe door, thanks for any help Bob.

I would check some of the vendors web sites to see if the c-3 doors are the same or if they are year specific..

Yes and No. 1968 doors are one year only due to the thumb buttons; 69 up are essentially the same. Coupe and convertible doors are different so those have to remain with the correct body style. Early convertible doors do not have lock post receivers and pins the later convertibles have. 68-72 doors do not have the side intrusion beams in them; 73 and up do.

What are you calling a "door guide"? Door glasses have guides. Doors do not. What are you wanting to do?

The operating hardware on the inside is different starting in 78. when they moved the inside handle up off the end of the armrest. The inner door structure is a little different because of that. May be able to refit but It is different.

When I restored my 68, I tried to replace one of the doors with a 69 door and it was not a coorect fit. I have owned the car since 72 and am 2nd owner so I know the body was not hit or worked on as the guy I bought it form was a friend and a fanatic about keeping everything original.
The body lines did not line up exactly on the 69 door with the 68 at the rear by the door latch and locks and the gaps were much to large so I came to the conclusion that the 69 door was different.
