Drag Race Tires

[DRTH VTR]

I have a 2002 Z06. I like to drag race at the local strip, Firebird. It is about 2600 feet elevation. I have a lot of trouble with wheel spin. I have thought about getting a couple of extra rear wheels and mounting either drag radials or 'cheater' slicks. Has anyone done this? Will I break driveline components?

You can run drag radials, people do it all the time.
