Awhile ago, the owner of 89-005 (Z. Roasales) mentioned his B2K was a regular at the track - Here is a scan of the 89 - 005 car making a pass...
This was in National Dragster Mar 7, 2003

I had to do it once! :-) Just once!

5% of the cars broke something at the track that day, so that's not something I want to make a habit of!

This was before the clutch! (gee I wonder what contributed to its demise? hmm.... lol)

C3-C4 Vette 1st Place Luis Suau 12.98

I know the reaction time was .85

I can't remember the speed. I'll look for the tape and get back to you.

Luigi - Those are decent times :beer

Back in 89, I remember racing against an 87 B2K at Mason Dixon 1/4 mi track in MD - Guy was racing his car about every weekend and had gotten his car down to 12.8's at about 112 or so (It was a long time ago so I am going off memory here ;) ) 12.8 for the 87 was really quick - considering I was hitting high 13's at that point :D (non turbo Vette)

A friend of mine that was there has another forced induction car - it was called the "B&M Supervette" and his was based upon an 88 Convertible... HIs car was also running 12.8 but I don't think the mph was quite as high - maybe the 108 range...

Both these cars were consistent and they both had true dual exhaust:upthumbs
The 88 even used a Callaway boost guage for monitoring the pressures of the blower :cool

Are you planning on running it w/ your new clutch or, are was that a one time deal?? :beer
