At some point during my cars life, the rear hatch glass was replaced... with glass from an earlier car that didn't have the holes to mount the high brake light to. My question is... is it possible to drill or otherwise make holes in that glass? I was thinking abrasive dremel attachment... but I don't have a peice of glass to test with...

thanks

get a piece of brass tubing the correct OD,some modeling clay and some corse valve grinding compound. build a clay dam around where want the hole, put a mixture of valve grinding compound and water into the dam. the water will prevent the glass from getting tooo hot and cracking. a slow speed drill press works the best but you could use a power hand drill also. the tubing will wear away but so will the glass. it is slow but it will work.

That sounds like a great idea, thanks!!
