Question: Driver side window won't roll down

62 Corvette - my driver side window won't roll down. The back edge of the window "wants" to go down, but the front does not. I've jockeyed it around a bit, but no dice. Before I take the door panel off and start in on it, what am I looking for? I've had it apart before to put new fabric in the back channel inside the door, but it worked before and after that little project.

You're probably hanging up on one of the two stops on each side. Window probably went too far up and slipped by one of them, but now it doesn't want to go back past it. There is a little bit of play side to side. You can probably get a light and look down at an angle and see it hanging up. Bring the other window down and you can see at least the rear stops so you know where they are.

Anyways, just try to pull out one side of the window trim while pushing the window in the other direction and it should slip by this time. Long time remedy is to readjust the stops further in so as to prevent window from going up too far. Short time cure is don't roll the window up so far..
