Help! Drivers seat loose

Seat has a little free play. Very annoying. GM only sells the entire assembly for $700. I heard that some plastic washers can be replaced with metal and solve the problem. My trim shop can do the job if they knew how to do it.

Joel, sounds like you've got the dreaded C5 rocking chair seats too, eh? I keep putting off fixing mine (both are doing it now) but I'm going to have to get it corrected soon... maybe at the same time I get my door hinges replaced.

Not true @ my dealer, I can get "parts" of the seat.
