Driver’s side door lock fell out of car when open with key. Took door panel off. Plus mirror shaking when car is running.Notfrom mirror mount where mirror attaches to mount. Question is do I have to take window out to get at lock cylinder and mirror.Window is all the way up. Any help would be great thanks.

Hi Bill,
Welcome to the CAC. No, you don't have to take the window out to get to the lock tumbler, but unfortunately you do to take off the mirror if it is the painted 'sport mirror'. Hope this helps.

Hi Graig Thanks for quick reply. But cant seem to reach my hand up through the small compartment to get at tumbler.Found clip in bottom of door .Thats why I asked about window. Also I do have sport mirrors and do they have to be reached from bottom of door as well. Will try again tomorrow.Anyway thanks again. Bill 77

Hi Bill,

You need to get a long pair of fishing pliers to get the clip back on to the cylinder. There's no way to get your hand in that little hole.
