while driving my car ,my drivers side floor board gets wet, no A/C is running either. After it sits ,it drys out but after i drive it it gets wet again, only the drivers side though. Any suggestion ? Its a 79 , 350 , AT, AC

Not an expert (definition of expert = a drip under pressure ;LOL) but if the floor is getting wet (in dry weather!!! - love that one JohnZ) logically it must be coming from the heater matrix, or connections to the same.

The only other explanation, is that this vette is sooooo faaassstt...... the drivers bladder control system is failing!!! ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

Seriously, there are previous threads pertaining to heater matrix etc, which would be worth a read.

Good Luck!!!

That's wierd. All of the heater hoses are on the passenger side in the engine compartment. Heater core is on the passenger side. The only wet thing that goes to the drivers side is the windshield washer pump on the firewall. Could that be it?
If it was coolant, you'd smell it,
If it was gas, you'd smell it.
Wierd!

If heater core, it will be dripping on the passenger side floor. Might also check to see that the small round rubber drain hole seal is in place in the floorboard--under the carpet. Look under the car to see if it is in place--about the size of a quarter. Had a friend that was getting water coming in/entering his footwell area from under the car---either when it was raining or he drove through any water.

No there isnt any smell to it, has been dry outside for a while, plug is in the floorboard, BUT i noticed a rubber hose that had layed on the manifold and melted in two, it goes from the front of the carburator and it looks like to me it goes to the bottom of the windshield washer fluid container, but there is still some washer fluid in thr container........

Is it possible that you have a leak in the firewall? The only thing I can think of is after using your wipers, wiper fluid is leaking in. Thats provided you used wiper fluid....
