Drivers side knee panel

I tried to remove the knee panel so I could get to the cruise brake switch and relay. I almost got there but could not figure out how to pull the panel out. The only thing holding it in was clear down by the floor. I tried everything I could think of to release the panel. :confused

John, on my '96, there are 3 or 4 screws holding that panel up. With the carpeting on the panel, the screws are sometimes difficult to see!
