Drivers side sun-shade R&R

Does anyone know the correct procedure for removing and re-installing the sun- visors on a 2006 C6 coupe? My car does not have the garage door opener "HomeLink" option and I want to replace the drivers visor with one with the door opener. The problem is the dealer does not know how to remove the visor and the info in the GM computer which is used by the technicians is incorrect as to the 2006 visors. Can anyone help?

Hi there,
I would simply look at the new homelink visor and that should show you how to install it and remove the old one at the same time.

Thanks but I am actually going to install a Homelink unit in the original visor. I found a web site showing how to install a Used Homelink out of another visor in a 2004 vette visor and it is simple after the visor is removed. I have found a Homelink unit with a built in digital memo recorder that is only slightly larger than the Homelink units in the original vette visor. I have already tested the unit and even programmed it for my garage doors.
Thanks for the tip but I still need to get the visor off.
I was hoping that someone with info from the plant could help.
