Hard To Remove Drivers Side Valve Cover?

I can't seem to get my "drivers" side valve cover off!
There's not enough clearance
because of the AC & Alternator bracket! Is it necessary to pivot the bracket out of the way.
Also, will these units remain in place (not budge) when the bracket is "pivoted" up out of the way?
Advice needed ASAP. A Big Thank you!
