DRL HID Lights

Has anyone found an HID light kit for the DRL Lights? I have a 2000 and would like to update these lights. Can you just put new bulbs in or do you need the ballast boxes for each light?

The daytime running lights are incorporated with your turn signals. There's no way a HID would work in that situation. Hids aren't designed to flicker on/off.

I think you're talking about the fog lights, and yes, several people have done a HID conversion using the stock housings. You need a balast box and new bulb for each light. Try doing a forum search to get more details.

True, I have the switchback LEDs, but the original question asked about HIDs, hence my confusion.
