Has anyone tried the DryWash system on their corvette or know of anyone who has? Just curious if this system is all they say it is. DryWash is a product you put on your car to clean it versus a car wash.

i have used it BUT i have not used it on a very dirty car. it does seem to work and leaves a very slick surface.

I have used it like a wax or polish. It is easy to use, but it would not, in my opinion, be a substitute for a wash.

Thanks so much for the replies! I have a black vette that I just recently purchased. I take it to the car wash and them chamois it dry. You can still see little swirls and small scratches. Car just never seems to look clean enough and according to DryWash's website every time you wash a car you take away some of the polish, paint, etc. At a loss as to how to get rid of the swirls plus keep the car looking shiny and clean.

The first thing that I would suggest is to wash the car at home with microfiber towling. I would suggest that you avoid the car wash. They will have either dirty brushes or harsh chemicals or both. I do take mine to the car wash once in a while, but I have seen damage from those visits. I apply the DryWash as a polish a couple of times a year.

I haven't washed my cars in years. Moisture is the enemy. :D I have 2 convertibles and a coupe. All 3 leak if caught in the rain, so I figure I'm not going to purposely get water down into the doors, windshield frames, behind bumpers, etc. where you can't dry it. Dri-Wash is all I use. I like the stuff. great for just a spot cleaning. Now, I will use a hose if I get mud behind the wheels or something, I just don't bathe my cars anymore.

I agree, I can't remember the last time I washed the outside of my cars. I only use this duster weekly, claybar and apply good wax twice a year.

DryWash is in business, of course they would say that, it's their freaking marketing ploy! :rotfl

A good wet wash is good for your Corvette, it won't hurt it 1 bit . . .

Later . . . . . .
