http://powermastermotorsports.com now offers a dual internal fan alternator for the C4 Corvette. I did an inquiry for my 1985 L98 model and this is the response I got:
"We do have one for that. It is a part # 18207 for the chrome and 8207 for the natural finish. You will need harness adapter # 136 to install that.

I was watching ESPN one day and saw the Big Daddy Don Garlets show or such at a hot rod show and these guys were showing off their new dual internal fan alternators which are suppose to run ALOT cooler than the traditional single outter fan alternator. Since our alternators sit close to the exhaust manifolds I think that is a reason why they may fail so often.
I have not checed the price yet but looks like i'll be getting one very soon.
