The exhaust on my 427 Vert decided to go loud yesterday and stay that way.
The fuse was blown so I replaced it and the new fuse promptly failed. Tried another, same result.
It's at the dealer now. They tell me that there is a short to ground in the wiring and they're trying to run it down. They think it's in the rear behind the rear bumper.
Now I wait to see what they find.
:ugh

Active shorts are a lot easier to diagnose than intermittent ones. They'll find it.

It seems that there are a couple of "flow control solenoids" in the system and one of them is shorted. So, we're awaiting parts.

Dual mode exhaust is dual mode again! :happyanim:
Solenoid was only $77 but they had to take the rear bumper off to get to it. So, the labor was over 400. Ouch.

One of the joys of owning a Corvette. :w
