The 74 coupe I recently purchaced has one horn that sounds pretty sick! The single horn is located front and center under the hood. Does anyone know where the second horn should be located and if there are connections for it? I really want to hear that smooth duel horn tone. :)

'74 and '75 Corvettes only had one horn as standard equipment; there was an option (U05) for dual horns for about five bucks; only 5,000 took the option in '74, 22,000 took it in '75.

You can purchase a pair of Fiam horns at any auto store for about $25 a pair. These are loud and reliable.

william, i used a couple of fiam horns i had laying around. i mad a bracket to connect the horns together. then piggy-backed the wiring.. very noticable now!

drive it like ya stole it!!

Dual Horns

Sorry Robin74, my grammer and fingers are not in sync. ;) However, I am going to take those suggestions and purchase "DUAL" horns from a local auto store and install them ASP....... It's those little things in life that make me happy.... that's why I bought the 74 in the first place. I am a former 69, 427 owner who sold out to raising 4 kids instead........ yikes!!!

Thanks again all and I love this forum. :s
