I'm looking at a '95 and was wondering what the button is for above the headlight switch. I currently own a '90 and mine doesn't have one, but it has a small pic of a Vette on it with swervy tire tracks behind it. Thanks in advance..

In 92 the Corvette incorperated the Acceleration Slip Regulation or ASR. Can't be sure but I think that is what it might be. I know if I want to burn rubber in my C5 I first turn off the traction control then I powerbrake and get the tires spin............nevermind.........

Upton 750 - that's not a dumb question, just an uneducated one. And that's what we're here for. :thumb

I don't own a C4 but I'm going to guess this is the ASR button, as in Anti Slip Regulation (some refer to it as TCS or Traction Control System). That button turns it on and off manually; "on" it prevents wheel spin.

Somebody better educated than me should offer an explanation soon.

And by the way... :welcome

It is the ASR button. When you shut it off and put your right foot to the floor you get the swervy tire tracks behind your Vette. (Disclaimer: May not work on other makes and models, your mileage may vary.)
