can any one help with what you use to staple the a arm dust shields or the lower splash shield staples with-is there a process you use? or type of stapler?
keith :confused

No actual process......

...did it with the splash shields but that´s the same.

You can use kinda stainless wire and bend that to a 1/2" staple.
Put the new part in place and secure it. Drill 1 mm holes from the other side through the new part using the existing holes in the fiberglass. Stick the staples through them and just bend the ends.

The machinery that was once used in the factory is for sure not available....

Oh what fun to be had.. I just put the splash shields in for the a arms and it's a chore. I ended up using a set of channel locks that were big enough to reach the back side and the front of the staple. I could hold the staple front with one side and use the other side of the channel locks to bend the staple. Mind you now it won't look like factor on the underside but take you time and it can be done. I take it you have the new staples that came with the shielding?? Some people recommended that I use the orginal staples for easy installation but I like the look of the new staples. Hope that this helps..
