Has anyone ever dynomatted their interior? I was thinking of doing the driver and passenger floor, center console, and rear cargo area. Hopefully the ride will be a little quieter and there will be insulation for the hot summer weather and cold winter weather.

Is the carpet glued down or will it come off easily?

Thanks!:cool

I have done my entire enterior with dynamat. You'll love it. The carpet is not glued to the floor, it pops right up

The carpet sections on the tranny tunnel ARE glued. And I think the carpet guys at Bowling Green got paid for how much glue they used too, because mine was IN THERE. Ask me what I mean by 'IN THERE' too, because I bled.

Watch out for the plastic 'sleeve' liners on the forward tunnel sections, because they are sharp.

I was gonna' toss mine, cause the PO was a smoker, and he was a

, but I threw all the sections in the tub with gallon and a half of Tide, since the padding, once exposed, smelled like a new car :confused . It wasn't ripped or anything, or even worn at the feet, so I gave it a try. I thought if I cleaned it good enough it would let that 'new smell' come through. It didn't. Only thing wrong was too much Tide. Still smells like like soap 2 years later, which is not as bad as the other smell...

Thanks guys! Is there anything else I should look out for when taking the carpet off? I probably wont touch the glued down carpet, but I will see..

Thanks Again!:cool
