E3 Spark Plugs

I bought a set for another car, but didn't have a chance to try them before I sold it.
I just gave them away to a friend with the same car.
It will be a while before he gets the car going.

The main reason I didn't put them in was they are made in China.
I searched around my garage and found another set of plugs that were still good. I had planned to take the E3's back, but lost the receipt.

I try and stay away from China made goods if possible.
Very hard these days.

The "E3" is another of a very long line of gymicky spark plug ideas...Whitney Fire Injectors, Split-Fire, E3...all the same stuff: lots of marketing, not much practical benefits.

Stick to something that's proven in the field such as Denso Iridium Power.

I use the Denso in everything I own, including my ZR-1. I've used the Denso IT-22 for about ten years in the LT5 with excellent results. You get better exposure of the spark to the air/fuel charge due to the 0.4mm center electrode and the cut-back ground strap. Iridium is more durable and has less resistance then platinum...probably why even GM went to iridium-tipped plugs on Corvette back in the early-'00s.
