Need help please, I have a Edelbrock 1903 800 cfm carb I am unable to ajust my feul mixture becouse this takes some kind of special tool to ajust, not the normal screw like a Q jet, this is sothing like a half circle or oplong shape. I have been to all the auto part stores and even snap-on tools on line and can't find a thing most people don't even know what your talking about this is a new carburator.. any body have or know where to purchase a tool so I can ajust......?

I'm not sure what kind of a special tool you would need, but I would call Edelbrock's tech line and see if they sell one or can direct you to one. I've called Edelbrock on more than one occasion and found the techs very helpfull.

I just bought a tool like the one you need at a local Carquest.

Don't tell them it's an Edelbrock. That only confuses them. Tell them you need a late-model Quadrajet adjusting tool. The one I got fits early and late QJets, as well as Chrysler carbs. 13 bucks.

Finally found one Napa Main store found some one who new what I was talking about $14
Thanks for the tip on Carquest they are coast to coast ,that was my next stop, they weren't open but, I got lucky and found one after many phone calls
helped to just call it a carburator ajusting tool .........TKS

You can use a 6" long x 1/4" copper tube and adjust the shape to suit the mix screws. I did that with the Qjet mixture screws.

Just a tip.
