I have an '81 4-spd, and when my present shocks need replacing I am thinking about getting the Edelbrock Performer IAS Shocks----these are the shocks that supposedly vary their response given the road surface and are advertised heavily by Edelbrock. Does anyone have any experience with these in actual operation?

Thanks!

This is my second year with them on my 72 and I'm very pleased. They perform exactly as advertised. Matter of fact, I like them so much, I replaced the shocks on our 95 with the IAS. Later this year I'll buy them for my T-Bird.

just ordered The Shocks And the new rear spring and front springs going to put them on this weekend so i will tell you probably sunday/monday but if you do look at buying the look at buying them from martel brothers racing products i got my shocks not even 24 hours after ordering them.

I'm not familiar with that shock but if your installing a composit or fyberglass spring you will need a high pressure gas shock for you spring to work properly and safely.
